Naturaqua Floormax 1-2K Top HD 4166 is a water-based polyurethane self-sealing varnish specific for the treatment of parquet.
Wear resistant, can be used in combination with a hardener to improve the strength and durability of the treated surface.
Transparent, odorless, it respects the environment and the health of the operators, having a very low VOC content.
Once applied, it develops very high levels of protection against wear and abrasion on any wooden surface, already sanded or to be restored.
High performance combined with the ease of use of a 1-2K technology and ease of spreading.
Certified according to EN71.III Safe for children's toys.
Compliance with DIN 68861-1:2011 Resistance to cold liquids.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Sand the object to obtain a smooth, clean surface free from oils, greases, waxes, silicones and old paint.
Apply a water-based resin binder, loaded with wood dust, to fill cracks and irregularities and/or to even out the surface and homogenize its absorption.
After 1-2 hours, sand with 120-180 grit sandpaper.
Before applying the lacquer, carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust and remove any residues with an antistatic cloth.
The minimum temperature for use is 10 °C
ONE-COMPONENT APPLICATION
Apply the product and then after 1-2 hours sand with 180-220 grit sandpaper, carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust and remove any residue with an antistatic cloth.
Then apply the second coat of NATURAQUA FLOORMAX 1-2K TOP HD 4166. Although self-sealing for best results, the use of a base coat may be considered.
Suggested cycle:
1x coat of NATURAQUA FLOORMAX BASE HT66 or HN41.
TWO-COMPONENT APPLICATION:
Mix the lacquer and the NAT4100-2K hardener in a 10:1 ratio, stir well, then add 5-10% of preferably demineralised water and stir again.
After 10 minutes apply the product and then after 1-2 hours sand with 220 grit sandpaper, carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust
and remove any residue with an antistatic cloth.
Then apply the second coat of NATURAQUA FLOORMAX 1-2K TOP HD 4166.
Pot life: 4 hours
Wait for 2-4 hours.
Sand with 180-220 grit sandpaper or mesh and dust perfectly before applying the second coat.
Apply at least a second coat.
Wait 12-24 hours for complete drying and maximum hardness.

The EMICODE mark guarantees that the material has been tested and certified according to its emission level. Compared to 1997, low-emission building materials now have a TVOC value (total quantity of volatile organic compounds) from one hundred to one thousand times lower. The EMICODE mark is not issued if a building material is suspected of altering genetic makeup, causing cancer or impairing reproductive capacity.
