Description

Ready-to-use waterborne clear toning base coat for the treatment of all types of wooden floors.
With strong wetting performance is specifically created for preliminary treatment before Naturaqua Floormax Top finishing lacquers.
Good transparency and elasticity, excellent adhesion, creates the effect of a solvent-based lacquer, giving the wooden surface a warm colour, especially oak.
Thanks to its consistency and excellent flow, it is easy to apply both with a brush and a roller.
Excellent sandability.
The water-based technology guarantees the very low level of volatile organic compounds (VOC), respecting the user and the environment.

Method of Usage

Sand the product to obtain a smooth, clean surface free from oils, greases, waxes, silicones and old paint.

Apply a water-based binder resin, loaded with wood dust, to fill cracks and irregularities and/or to even out the surface and homogenize its absorption.
After 1-2 hours, sand with 120-180 grit sandpaper.

Before applying the paint carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust and remove any residues with an antistatic cloth.
Minimum working temperature is 10 °C.

ONE-COMPONENT APPLICATION:
Ready for use. Apply the product and then after 1-2 hours sand the surface with 180-220 grit sandpaper, carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust and remove any residues with an antistatic cloth.

In case of very hot climate, for a better spreading, we recommend to consider the need of minimum 10% XA9103 retardant addition.
Then proceed to the finishing coat with NATURAQUA FLOORMAX TOP

Conformity EN 71.3 Toy safety - Part 3: Migration of certain items.
Eurofins danish laboratories have recognized the conformity of Borma Wachs oils to EN 71-III norm, relating to the migration of harmful heavy metals, guaranteeing the safety of the treatments in such a way that they can also be safe for use on childrens' toys.

This label covers the French legislation relating to emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and the impact they have on indoor air quality after the product is brought into the room.
Labeling refers to the pollutants emitted once the products are spread and dried.

The IBR Green Building Institute had tested some of our products and determined that they correspond to the highest standards of the aforementioned French VOC legislation.
