Venice has always been a place where materials, art and craftsmanship come together. It is a city where manual expertise, knowledge of materials and attention to detail are deeply rooted in local tradition.
For Borma Wachs, taking part once again in the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano, within the remarkable setting of the Venice Arsenal, therefore has a special meaning. It gives us the opportunity to reconnect with a world to which we feel particularly close: artisans, restorers and professionals who transform wood through experience, sensitivity and deep knowledge of the material.
Our participation was also expressed through our collaboration with Master Artisan Giuliano Brollo, who relies on Borma Wachs solutions for the treatment and gilding of his creations.
This long-standing collaboration reflects our approach to finishing products: not simply materials applied to a surface, but tools placed in the hands of skilled craftsmen, supporting their expertise and helping them enhance the individual character of wood.
Being present in Venice means reaffirming the connection between tradition and innovation, material and technique, craftsmanship and research.
Because protecting and enhancing wood also means helping to preserve a culture of craftsmanship that continues to evolve while remaining connected to its roots.
