The new Borma Wachs catalogue dedicated to parquet combines all the information to allow the user to choose the most suitable woodfinishing products to meet their technical and aesthetic needs whilst fully respecting the environment.

What Do We Actually Do?
Our commitment starts with the choice of natural raw materials, selected and processed to minimize the environmental impact, using sustainable materials and renewable energy sources.
The supply chain continues thanks to our research, development and testing department that allows us to reduce emissions and to produce accurate technical data sheets and instructions for use, which also reduce waste for the end user.


Our parquet solutions are divided into different product lines to meet specific needs and satisfy the needs of each process.
Which logos and which certifications can be found in the catalogue?
EN71.III: Eurofins certification, indicates safe products also for finishing children's toys.
IBR CERTIFICATION: the prestigious Institut fur Baubiologie Rosenheim tests and recommends products certified for use in green building.
VOC FREE: a valuable certification for health, it indicates products that are extremely safe from the point of view of emissions, reduced to zero.
EUROCLASSE BFL-S1: in accordance with the EN 13501-1 standard, certifies products with a reaction to fire that makes them suitable for the treatment of passages and escape routes.
ECO PREMIUM: brand of one of the Borma Wachs top range lines, it indicates exceptional eco-compatibility characteristics.
ALL’ACQUA: distinguishes water-based products.

CLASSIC: divided into Classic oil resins, Classic oil - waxes resins and Classic polyurethane, it indicates traditional solvent-based products, suitable for specific processes.
IG PURE: products with a silver-based nanostructure, ideal for a double barrier and sanitizing effect.
UV RESISTANCE: usually affixed to outdoor products, the mark of resistance to damage from UV rays is also present in some solutions for parquet to guarantee their protection from the sun.
UV – LED: indicates products that harden with UV light. Ideal for professional processing, they are extremely performing and resistant.
STOP FIRE: logo placed on our fireproof products. In the individual technical data sheets you can find all the specifications of the smoke and flame inhibitors.
BORMA COLOR SYSTEM: some products can be customized by creating a particular color according to needs.
2K: indicates the two-component products to be used with a specific catalyst.

Conformity EN 71.3 Toy safety - Part 3: Migration of certain items.
Eurofins danish laboratories have recognized the conformity of Borma Wachs oils to EN 71-III norm, relating to the migration of harmful heavy metals, guaranteeing the safety of the treatments in such a way that they can also be safe for use on childrens' toys.
Borma Wachs products are tested and approved by IBR, Intitut für Baubiologie Rosenheim. The performed analysis certify that our products are complying in terms of VOC content, biocides, heavy metals and radioactivity, guaranteeing full eco-compatibility with Green Building principles.
This product's safety is guaranteed more than just by EN 71-III certificate. Its safety for children is supported by DIN 53160/1-2 and DIN 68861/1 (Resistance to saliva and sweat; Resistance to cold liquids ) certificates as well. The product does not release harmful substances even when in contact with common alimentary liquids or mucuous membrane.

Labeling of construction products
This label covers the French legislation relating to emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and the impact they have on indoor air quality after the product is brought into the room.
Labeling refers to the pollutants emitted once the products are spread and dried.

The IBR Green Building Institute had tested some of our products and determined that they correspond to the highest standards of the aforementioned French VOC legislation.
EMICODE EC1 - Low-emission building materials
Certified installation materials, adhesives and construction products
The EMICODE mark guarantees that the material has been tested and certified according to its emission level. Compared to 1997, low-emission building materials now have a TVOC value (total quantity of volatile organic compounds) from one hundred to one thousand times lower. The EMICODE mark is not issued if a building material is suspected of altering genetic makeup, causing cancer or impairing reproductive capacity.
APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates)
APEOs (alkylphenol ethoxylates) are highly persistent chemicals, which are deposited in the tissues, penetrating, through them, into the food chain.
Recent studies demonstrate its toxicity and danger, as potential endocrine disruptors.
