Description

Suitable for the preparation of specific hand applied polish or to complement finishing operations on restoration work. It gives the surface a particular shiny effect, dry and velvet at touch; moreover it enlightens the wood grain, giving a nice aesthetic effect. The various types available are:
1) Naturally waxed: ABTN;
2) De-waxed: NE Black Garnet, AR Orange, RU Ruby Red, TR Transparent.

They allow to obtain, without the addition of chemical dyes, original and different chromatic shades.

Method of Usage

Select the shellac for the required finish, dissolve in Solve, preferably 99°, at an initial ratio of 300 g./l.

Wait 24 hours, filter the solution and apply as a base coat on the interest support.

For the finish, it is advisable to reduce the concentration by adding 200 g. of Shellac 99 for every 100 g. of initial solution, which makes the product much easier to use This would give a much more workable product.

If the product is applied by pad, pour a few drops of Borma Bio-Polierol on the support when it is being treated which improves the application time. Any halos at the end can be removed with Borma Finishing Spirit.
