Method of Usage

On a proper basecoat and after the application of any Borma Zapon Intermediate Insulator, apply a very thin layer of the suitable Goldsize, only where gilding is needed.

When the surface becomes sticky, make the metallic strip adhere and press it with its protective paper. Where the leaf doesn’t adhere perfectly, press it with a cotton bun.

Wait for the leaf to be pasted properly, then take away the exceeding pieces of leaf with a soft brush.

Finally apply one hand of Spray Varnish or Zapon Lack.

Eurofins danish laboratories have recognized the conformity of Borma Wachs oils to EN 71-3 norm, relating to the migration of harmful heavy metals, guaranteeing the safety of the treatments in such a way that they can also be safe for use on childrens' toys.
