Thermo-treated wood is characterised by very high density and compactness, which often prevents correct adhesion of conventional finish products. Thermowood Oil is formulated specifically for deep penetration and therefore to be well-absorbed also by difficult surfaces with minimum wetting. Enriched with UV filters and protective additives of the wood, it creates a protective film resistant to wear, ideal for all manufactured pieces in heat-treated wood, including floors, terraces and decks. Application of at least two coats is recommended.
1) The product is ready for use, but in the event of particularly compact surfaces, the first coat of Thermowood oil can be diluted at 50% with Solvoil 06, slow drying solvent. Proceed to apply subsequent coats without dilution.
2) To obtain greater depth and to obtain a considerable decorative effect, proceed to finish with a last coat of Decking Oil – Danish Oil.
