Mix of natural oils, with zero emissions, especially formulated to protect exterior wooden surfaces. Enriched with UV filters and preservatives, it guarantees advanced protection against atmospheric and biological agents. The addition of the catalyst increases its surface performance, making it an ideal finish for terraces and decks in exotic wood. Odour-free, it can be customised to your desired colour using the oil pigments.
Ready to use. To facilitate brush application, it could be advisable to dilute with Solvoil Plus. Exclusively after adding the catalyst. Preferably avoid application on heated supports or in direct sunlight. Application of the product must be carried out as evenly and continuously as possible, without stopping.

LOGIN
First sand the wooden surface grit 100-120. Remove all the residuals of old lacquers, dirt, grease and dust. To increase the level of protection and the durability of the coating we recommend the preliminary application of one coat of Borma Shield o Naturaqua Borma Shield, clear or coloured.
Pour Decking oil 2k and its catalyst in a container, ratio 100:30. Stir well to grant the complete catalysis of the product. If aimed, to further improve the high impregnation capacity and make the application even easier, after catalysis the product can be diluted with Solvoil Plus up to 20%.
Spread the oil on the surface by brush. Application should be as uniform as possible, without interruptions.
The second coat can be applied without waiting time, wet on wet, or in 12 hours, without the need of an intermediate sanding.

Eurofins danish laboratories have recognized the conformity of Borma Wachs oils to EN 71-3 norm, relating to the migration of harmful heavy metals, guaranteeing the safety of the treatments in such a way that they can also be safe for use on childrens' toys.

Labeling refers to the pollutants emitted once the products are spread and dried.
The IBR Green Building Institute had tested some of our products and determined that they correspond to the highest standards of the aforementioned French VOC legislation.

The EMICODE mark guarantees that the material has been tested and certified according to its emission level. Compared to 1997, low-emission building materials now have a TVOC value (total quantity of volatile organic compounds) from one hundred to one thousand times lower. The EMICODE mark is not issued if a building material is suspected of altering genetic makeup, causing cancer or impairing reproductive capacity.
