Description

Linseed oil, filtered and boiled with traditional systems and with the addition of dryers. Ideal for the preparation of oil pigments. Resin free. Gives a soft and bright finishing on raw or stripped wood. Base and finishing oil, natural effect. Penetrates in deep and in wood grain. Bright and natural effect, but not glossy. Suggested also as a sealer for terracotta and other porous surfaces before wax treatment. The treated surface will be soft and delicate, and it will be necessary to recover it periodically to keep its natural beauty.

Method of Usage

To facilitate application, for the first coatings dilute the oil with white spirit (30%).

Apply uniformly with a clean cloth. After 20 minutes remove the product in excess in order to avoid the surface to become sticky.

Repeat the process for at least four coatings, each one after at least 24 hours form the last, decreasing progressively the quantity of thinner. For the final coating use non-diluted oil, removing again the product in excess.

Wipe the surface with steel wool "0000" to increase the sheen.

The IBR Green Building Institute had tested some of our products and determined that they correspond to the highest standards of the aforementioned French VOC legislation.

The EMICODE mark guarantees that the material has been tested and certified according to its emission level. Compared to 1997, low-emission building materials now have a TVOC value (total quantity of volatile organic compounds) from one hundred to one thousand times lower. The EMICODE mark is not issued if a building material is suspected of altering genetic makeup, causing cancer or impairing reproductive capacity.
